ESPN

Said he didn't agree with what Leach did, but still says it wasn't harmful to James

Let me pick out important facts buried in that article

quote:

Adam James... was monitored by two trainers at all times.

quote:

Pincock said in the statement. "While in the garage, Adam was walking around, eating ice, sitting on the ground, and, at one point, sleeping; at no point was there any enforcement to make Adam stand up."

There is important information, at least if Leach plans to sue Tech, in that article too.

That the Head Trainer said he shouldn't of done it, and that it was his opinion that Leach did it just to make the guy uncomfortable.

Helps to establish cause.

Whatever kind of punk brat James is and how big a meddler his dad is means nothing compared to this statement. Leach has no defense or excuse for this.

no coach has ever did anything to make a player uncomfortable....i.e. Running...sitting on walls..etc etc....frick I wish having to sleep in a room was the worst punishment I got when I played

With a concussion, the last thing the trainers should have allowed was sleeping.

wasn't there a part in the e-mails stating how he was showing no signs of the concussion..not even a headache....

plus...it wasn't the day of the concussion...you can go to sleep with a concussion...people with concussions don't go 14 days without sleeping

It wasn't immediately after the concussion. Just because you have a concussion doesn't mean you don't ever get to sleep again forever.

Doesn't matter if you think James wasn't tough enough or man enough.

What matters is that Leach went against the Head Trainers advice dealing with an injured player.

Doesn't mean Leach didn't get hosed but it is very hurtful to his chances in a lawsuit.

Just goes to show that all parties involved were in the wrong.

It was not an acute concussion.

Yes and you can tell that is what Tech is aiming for when they released not just a statement by the trainer but a signed, sworn affidavit.

Oh Ok then the storage room was the right place to put the guy. Im sure Leach has used this room many times for non-acute concussions.

Truth is, he fricked up and now he's gone.

This guy was originally on Leach's side, and now he has changed his story now that Leach was fired.

But ESPN missed that too.

He has never "changed" his story. Read the article.

He still rebuts what James said about where he was placed at, and the circumstances around it. That part was put out by Leach's people though, so of course they aren't going to mention that the Trainer still disagreed with whatever Leach did.

Basically he is calling James a liar AND whatever Leach did do wrong.

I think it was also interesting WHERE these two articles were placed on ESPN.com with the one supporting TT/James as the first article on the right compared to the Pro Leach burried down on the bottom

Don't suppose it matters that basically all the information, i.e. The trainer calling James a liar of the "pro-leach" article was in the newest one?

Guess ESPN hates Mike Leach as well as LSU
