I also was happy to get Ethier with Ronnie's secound round pick.
Yeah, I was torn between Ethier and Nady at the 6th overall pick. I actually had Ethier ranked higher, but went with Nady instead. Not sure why.

I liked the Juan Pierre
I think he was worth the gamble for my team. He is not going to be a regular starter for me, and if he does get traded to the White Sox I can plug him in here and there for steals

Yeah, I took Sandoval third, but I still got a closer and starter in the first round so I filled my biggest needs. Having those extra picks allowed me to reach for him.

I like Sandoval but for him to go top 3 was it?
I was planning on taking him my 1st round pick (13) didn't think he would have been gone already..but I got Doumit so I guess I'm ok

Michael Bourn with my second to last pick.
Rick tried to convince me to keep him.

I was pretty happy with Lastings Milledge in the third round.

He was high on my list. Didn't think he would go that early.

I was looking for Sandoval at Pick 15 as well. I actually considered taking him at Pick # 2 FWIW. He has an insane line drive rate (25%).

getting loney AND damon was pretty damn shocking to me. I thought they both were going to be top 5-7 picks.

i was torn between derosa or a closer, and i figured i would rather have three guaranteed closers on my team

I just need a few of my pitchers to pan out. Nothing but high risk/reward guys and just plain shitty players available.
Posted on 3/24/09 at 11:58 am to LSUBoo
I'm in the same boat pitching wise.
Posted on 3/24/09 at 12:07 pm to EarlyBird
I think I'll be in good shape if I can average about 25 starts from my top 6 or 7 pitchers.

when you realize you need pitching and wqant to trade da prince for cc, you let me know
Posted on 3/24/09 at 12:26 pm to Ron Mexico
