Why are you so hung up on using "elite"? Is Auburn elite (3 top 10 in last 10 years)? What about LSU? Or FSU? Or Geogia? Where do you draw the line and what is your criteria?

I already outlined my criteria for elite (check page 8 I believe).

I've said it numerous times that I think they are a good solid program with some good talent, but for some reason 2 people are hung up on them being elite. One is full retard, the other I'm baffled that he believes it because the dude knows his shite.

TCU >>> Boise St. because they are stepping up to a BCS conference.
Problem is Boise couldn't join a BCS conference if they wanted to due to their academics.

Not only that, but their stadium holds less than 35,000 people, they don't have anything of note other than football, and the closest BCS conference to them picked far better candidates. Their best hope is to try to improve the rest of their athletics and beg and plead for the Big 12-2 to let them in.

They'd probably do better by pulling a BYU and going independent. They could schedule more freely and maybe play more than one or two BCS programs each regular season.

I'd say top 10%, so that would be the top 12. Do you think they are in the top 12 as a program or in terms of talent right now?
Problem is that's too subjective. Rank teams based on players in the NFL or rivals recruiting ranks? I bet VT would barely crack the top 25, but they're much better than that.

I don't think they're top 12 PROGRAM, but at least top 15-20 right now. Top 10 football TEAM the past 3 years, then yes.

Yep. You said top 12. TCU has been in the top 12 six times this decade and thrice in a row.

Do you really truly believe they were a top 3 team this year? Do you really believe there were only 2 teams better than them in college football this season? Yes or no?

Yes. The associated press, coaches, Harris, billingsley, Anderson & Hester, Colley, Wolfe, and Massey all agree.

Sagarin doesn't agree, but even he's got em in the top 10.

But your opinion is SOOOOOO interesting....

TCU has finished in the top 25 eight times since 2000.

in reality, they should finish in the top 25 EVERY year.

they play no one, and routinely win 9, 10, 11 games a year. That alone makes them worthy of a top 25 ranking. There is no mark for strength of schedule.

That in itself is impressive, dont get me wrong. But if you don't take it for what it is and put it in perspective, you end up looking like xiv, yurintroubl, etc.

There is no way that streak is in tack if they were in a real conference.

Again, people are taking it the wrong way, I don't hate TCU. I am just a realist. Even as a huge fan of LSU, I am able to call bullshite on things regarding their program and players.

Alabama, Stanford, Ohio State, Oklahoma, LSU, and Nebraska all say what's up. That's not including teams like Michigan State, Florida State, and Texas A&M.

Wow, you shot over playing full retard into super tard. I don't know whether to laugh or just stare in amazement.

Again, every poll and computer disagrees with you and agrees with me.

What makes your take more valuable than theirs?

If TCU is so elite then why do they only have 6 wins over BCS teams in 3 years?

What's so impressive to you about them beating San Jose State and New Mexico?

Yet TCUs schedule last year was 1 spot different than Wisconsin's.

According to whom? Wisconsin didn't face any sort of gauntlet, but damn the Big Ten grind is easily superior to the MWC grind. Hell does anyone really believe they had equal roads to the Rose Bowl? TCU had to get up to play Utah and Baylor. Wisconsin had to get up for Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, Michigan, etc.

Hell you cant argue facts with anyone. Gamecock still thinks TUC played SJS and is using them as a mark of poor opponents. (This I might add is after I brought it to his attention he was wrong about that exact issue more than a month ago)

You've failed to address why the AP, Coaches, and Harris Polls, as well as Billingsly, Massey, Wolfe, Anderson & Hester, Sagarin, and Colley all agree with me and disagree with you. Are they all mentally handicapped, too?

So their opinion = fact.

Who knew?

Who would guess that Non-BCS coaches would overrate TCU? No agenda there.

The media? Never an agenda.

Computers? Always reliable.

You are still the idiot who thinks that TCU was the third best team in the nation despite no on field proof. We beat Southern Miss this year; ELITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEE
