yeah, that was definitely nice....but fontenette has been doing that dunk since high school, years before the richardson contest. fontenette also tosses a 360 into the between the legs dunk, and it's still easy for him.
Watch the last dunk on this video...he's been doing this dunk since about 1999-2000. I have some friends from Hitchcock who have talked about him forever.....turns out they weren't lying.

just so the thread knows, if they don't, flight white can do a FT line dunk with an east bay in it

id be more impressed if he could do this against guys with talent.

i've never seen defense played in a dunk contest.

and the 360 one is in the other video, but it's not a true east bay...he slips it b/w his legs the opposite way. it was a big step and quite creative, but it's not the same thing that j-rich did in that video (or what white does from the FT line)

i heard that, but i think its bullshite. I remember in either the Hs or college one i think he tried it, and it defintely wasn't from the FT line.

but that was fontnette's dunk BEFORE the east bay came about...he's not trying to copy J-Rich, Rider, etc.

and fwiw, i think White is absolutely sick....he is my 1a. I just like Fontenette at 6'2" pulling this shite.

over the line by probably a good 8-10 inches....but, it's still amazing and i doubt anyone else could do it.
I just like fontenette's creativity a little better. White is all about jumping from a long way out.

yeah, that was legit. Maybe i am jaded, but i want more style than a dunk that has been since the 70's.

this guy in the first video finishes hard dunks easier than anyone Ive ever seen. Reaching back, hanging in the air, throwing down with 1 hand, etc. MAkes it look effortless. I see him go up and im like "no way", and sure enough he makes it look easy. Never heard of the dude before today though.
Going from the FT line never really impressed me. A lot of "long" guys can do that. Like James White. Not saying he is a bad dunker; he can throw it down. But going from the line is kind of generic to me.
