Official announcement from Oregon. What a rise for Willie Taggart, who was 7-21 at South Florida on Oct. 2, 2015. Went 17-4 afterward.

Man, the AAC needs a better TV deal in the worst way so they can stop getting all their talented coaches poached so quickly.

Apparently they interviewed Schiano and Harsin.
Reported that Flecks "agent who worked overtime peppering Parker Executive Search and trying to find a back door into this process" but couldn't get an interview.

Taggart is awesome. He brings a winning attitude to the table.

Great hire for Oregon. Taggart can coach and has won at WKU & USF, two programs that were in a bad spot when he took over. He left both programs much better shape.
