Suit Filed against Baffert & Zedan for Doping in Ky Derby.

Suit led by Michael Beychok. It alleges Baffert and Zedan are in violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the California Control of Profits of Organized Crime Act (CCPOCA) and for state common law and equitable fraud.

Maybe horse racing should actually hold folks accountable for breaking the rules instead of letting them skate and this won’t happen.

Horse racing is only about the breeding, the actual sport is a speed bump in between their foal, to their retirement and off to breeding shed.
Shame on all the owners and trainers who sit back and watch him cheat.
Also, sucks for Phipps, they try to come out and go tough on baffert and racing, and poor shug gets popped for a positive at one of the Ohio tracks, with one of their horses. ewf

Once race says Official, doesn't matter what horse tests at later.
Had a 19/1 get beat by 2 lengths closing like a freight train. Winner gets DQ'd for positive test. Had the 3rd place horse in $10 exacta, it was 25/1
Nothing you can do but shake your head, and know that the track didnt beat you, the cheaters did.

My bad, the person who posted the tweet, left off that it was in 2020 that Shug got popped in Ohio.
You see the interview Lukas did, and talked about Baffert? It was embarrassing. But he's a bigger scum bag than Baffert. Lukas ran horses to their graves for Insurance cash, and Lewis and Young were 100% behind him.

Idk much about it but I just saw breaking news ,some horses name,is cleared for Preakness. I i assumed it was baffert's horse

I find that is what is killing the sport. I understand it is hard to pass up the breeding rights but people build up a horse during the triple crown then they are gone from the sport. Man I feel like they could build up horses even more with match races and stakes races for past triple crown race winners.
