yea hes just a junior, so he has that leverage
True, but if he gets injured, I guarantee he won't get drafted in the first 5 rounds.
Not to mention, your stock plummets just because you're a year older.

Nats could take him plus either Mike Leake (righty from Arizona State) or Andy Oliver (lefty from Oklahoma State) and make it one of the best draft classes ever.
I'd say go after Aaron Crow, but we saw how that went for them last year.

he could end up like this guy
Damn, I just read that link about that Matt Harrington kid.
The article, of course, tries to portay him and his father kinda fairly, and in not such a negative light.
But, they talk about and explain the contract situation the 1st 2 years, then i love how they just spend 1 sentence saying he would get drafted 3 more times and each time fail to sign.
I would LOVE to know what happened those 3 times. I mean, this dude is a freaking moron. How many times does it take to realize, just sign a contract so you can get it out there. That is just greed at its finest, i dont see how anyone could say different after 5 times.
Then, they try to highlight the fact of how he's now making $11.50 an hour, then later they throw in the fact that he cashed in on the insurance policy and still became a "millionairre."
I had never heard that story, but that link left so many unanswered questions.
