Josh Pate used to be a lot better, but he’s still pretty good for college football
On3 with Pickell isn’t bad
Todd McShay for college football/NFL draft coverage
There are literally dozens of better options to get your sports fix than turning on first take anymore.

I remember Stephen A completely disappearing from ESPN for a couple of years after his initial ascension. Then he came back bigger than ever.
I rarely watch stuff he’s on these days and instantly change the channel if I hear him.
Does anyone recall why he disappeared during that time. I remember Triumph the Conan dog messing with him at time.

No. He’s playing a character.
If you listen to him outside of sports talk, he is much more reasonable and actually has some good thoughts. Doesn’t mean I agree with him, but he’s. It the same when on sports talk shows.
