After a few beers, all those home plate umps start to look a like.
I would say they all look alike sober. But i would think drunk or sober if you dont realize the umpires rotate throughout the weekend then you are probably a shitty fan.

Yeah, it was a joke.
But feel free to take it literally if you want.

im trying to actually get to the bottom of this. from what i hear it was a bs call and robi didnt really even bump him.
but i'd like to actually find out if people in lafayette understand that the umpires rotate. and booing the home plate umpire a day later is booing a different person.
because right now i kind of have my doubts.

BS call or not, there's no reason for a coach, who may be on the precipice of ULL's best season ever, to get tossed in that situation.

That's what I hear too. I wasn't there either. Kind of bummed, first weekend that I didn't go check out a game and that's when all the excitement happens.

There are definitely some that don't. I hear some pretty dumb things at games sometimes.

But you don't understand the average baseball fan over here. I like Robe and enjoying going out to games, but he can do no wrong in the eyes of most. Booing the ump is like a 'yeah, we're even now type deal.'
I don't get it, but from my experience, that's just the way it is.
ETA: 'average fan' might not be the best description, there are definitely some knowledgeable fans. But the baseball crowd attracts the worst of the Cajun fan base. Alot of people who don't really give a shite, but the baseball team is usually the best team on campus and I guess that brings them out.

'Cause the Cajuns fanbase is the only one that contains a segment of classless fans...

Like LSU fans wouldn't do the same shite.
ULL is a serious contender to win the regional and send LSU home.

do you actually think LSU will be in ULL's regional? I guess if we went 0-11 down the stretch that could happen.

I wouldn't cheer for an umpire to get hit by a pitch. I also would know that the umpires rotate each game.

as is your baseball knowledge if you think LSU is going to be in the same regional as ULL.

Nah, brah.
Regional games have to complete 9 innings.

Your a little bitch
Fine, the cajuns have the opportunity to send the tigers home in omaha. Is that better for you?
Posted on 4/29/14 at 1:43 pm to WreckinRams05
i'd say they have a decent chance of meeting up in the super regionals. Right now either team could be a top 8, or neither could.
I'm a little bitch because you dont understand how college baseball works? Ok....
