There's a big difference between saying they will be favored vs anythings possible.
And you're right. How CBJ played against Carolina this year on the road is meaningless. Their arena is a totally different atmosphere now compared to that last CBJ win in Raleigh. In November. The canes werent great the first few months. Their playoff odds were like 5% to start 2019.
