San Antonio win 1st 2
OKC win the next 4

It all depends on Ibaka and Parker, I really have no clue who to even go with.

If SA play like how they played against Portland, SA in 5.

If SA plays like how they played against Dallas, OKC in 6.

I'm seriously going to be so mad if the Thunder beat the Spurs and then the Heat get to run all over the weak arse Thunder for a 3rd straight title.

Not saying that OKC beats the hit, but this is a MUCH mentally tougher team than that 2011 team. That matters.

I don't know why it's assumed the Heat will beat the Thunder so easily

Short sided to do that for sure. Miami is this much older since 2011. Steven Adams (not kidding) could likely be the missing link for OKC if they can get any performances out him like they did tonight. Perkins KILLED them against Miami in the Finals of '11.

They don't look much better, though. Like, outside of Durant they look worse. The Heat are worse too, though.

But the Thunder are brutal in the halfcourt for the most part, man. It's terrible to watch even Durant just chunk up fadeaway jumpers. The Heat are so good defensively at the end of games. They're like the '90s Bulls in that aspect. They D you up when it counts, ESPECIALLY teams that rely on 1-on-1 iso plays (J. Johnson, Nets). That's really what the Thunder do late in games, whether it's Westbrook or Durant.

I don't think the Heat would have any trouble at all with OKC. Could go 6 because of the 5th game being back in OKC.

It's a fair criticism, no doubt.

If the Thunder are able to move the ball (like they did in the 2nd half tonight), they can beat the Heat.

But if they rely on iso, they have almost no chance to win 4 of 7.

OKC's D is better now than it was in 2012 so there's that at least. Thank God I never have to watch Harden try to guard Lebron again. FML that was bad.

I liked the Westbrook/Jackson backcourt tonight

Adams is progressing well into a legit NBA center(though of course he has a ways to go)

Ibaka is the key imo and the thunder bench has to play well like they have been.

They can beat them once or twice. The Thunder aren't magically going to do something they really haven't done all year enough to win 4 games against a good, good team that can match up with them athletically.

The Spurs are so good and so much better than the team that OKC ran over in 2012 that it probably won't matter. More well-rounded and a little younger. And Leonard is obviously a much bigger factor now, although he did start plenty of games as a rookie in 2012. But he's getting better every day. Matt Bonner doesn't play anymore.

I do like that either way the Heat will have to beat someone that they have already beaten. But honestly, I put it at a 40% chance that the Heat can beat Indiana and San Antonio back-to-back without home court. They probably won't win it.

lAnd I completely disagree. Stephen Jackson was huge for that Spurs team. Very grateful to not have to face him in this series. He was so damn good for them off the bench that year.
