We have a big population of mostly blue collar workers. We don’t have big corporations which limits our sponsorships which is why we’re a small market. We are top 3 smallest market, ask any local you know that watches the spurs. We used to always get shafted during the Duncan years because of this

They ducked us in the final meeting. They had something like 7 total players available to play. The rest were “injured”

We are the 6th largest city because the city has annexed a frick ton of land over the years. We didn’t have a bunch of traditional suburbs built in San Antonio so what would be suburbs in other cities are part of the city here. We are 4x “bigger” than Atlanta. Anybody who has ever been here knows how ridiculous that is.

We are something like the 20th largest metro in the country. We are absolutely a small market.

Our population number also doesn’t take into account our lack of major corporations for sponsorships. We are a blue collar Mexican town.
