I think these statements are telling that college football has to be played, or places are going to close down and the athletic directors know it.

Makes sense, but what happens to all these “rent-a-win” games versus directional opponents?

Conference games only cuts down on a lot of travel, except for those Rutgers/Nebraska and WVU/Texas Tech matchups.

MANY of those teams have no business playing at those levels anyway. There’s been an accelerated trend of new D-1 or FCS programs because everyone wants a piece of the pie. Athletic revenues drive so much, but some people still want to cry about excessive publicity of college football and sports in general.

This might be a sobering reality to some schools that they should stay at lower levels.

Lol college-aged athletes are the least susceptible to serious cases much less deaths among our population, they’ll be fine.

This fear mongering and chicken little girl is far worse than this disease. It’s been here since at least December and there weren’t massive amounts of deaths. This is what happens when you have shitty media and politicians who want to play games with peoples lives to accomplish their own goals.
