"The National Football League" by every ex player.
Are they trained to say this over and over when talking football?
A Simple "NFL" or "football" would be fine
Schlereth and Rod Woodson are the worst. You can probably get 5 or 6 "national football leagues" out of Schlereth in a 45 second span. Dilfer used to do it a lot too but he's gotten better.

"Gutsy"
Every time a team does something difficult, it's "gutsy." If a player leads a comeback, it's "gutsy." No, it's not "gutsy," it's them doing their job.
ETA: Arizona's kicker was just called "gutsy" for making a field goal after being iced BEFORE halftime.

New York "football" giants.
Is there another pro team in New York named the Giants to warrant said delineation?
I'm actually kinda serious on this question - because I hear the arse clowns on ESPN always say this in reference to the Giants....

Ok, I get it.
Still kinda lame that they say it, though.

When a team gets lucky and pulls a win out of their asses they "Found a way to win," even when that involves the opposition missing 6 field goals under 30 yds and missing 5 extra points so the team could win by 2.

"People are doubting us. We're using that as motivation"
Just shut up with that...it's over-used.

"Week in, week out". You can't listen to any sports talk and not hear this one.

I get sick of it every year when they make it sound like the NFL playoff picture is "so complicated and that they are going to sort it out for us" Now this might be helpful for some casual sports fans but I am sure that 90 percent of people that watch NFL Live or just even follow football can figure out the seedings and playoff scenarios. I am sick an tired of them making sound more difficult than it is even in years when it is pretty clear cut.
