As more cases continue to rise and the death rate gets lower these officials at respective schools look like complete idiots.

This virus isn't going anywhere and we know objectively it doesn't effect 18-22 yr olds at all.

You cancel this season when will sports be back? If cases continue to rise even into next year but the death rate remains low everyone canceling schools will look like fricking idiots.

This virus is 100% completely political. There is no reason collegiate athletes can't play even in an empty arenas/stadiums.

All presidential battleground states with republican governors - makes you wonder why the media is eager to report their case increase with no contextual data whatsoever.

Corona virus deaths dropped to 207 total nationwide yesterday, the lowest number since March 23rd.

Deaths are down 92% since late April.

I think there's a chance the season is saved if this trend holds. They'll have to make a decision by the end of the month if they want to start as scheduled. Might not be enough time to make decision makers comfortable enough.
