Conference tournaments don't do squat to show who the best team in the conference is. That's what the season is for. If the NCAA had their way, we wouldn't play the season and only play the conference tournament. That's how stupid the rules are.

Then the SLC office is just as stupid as the NCAA. To hell with the great season McNeese had right? Let's just look at the struggles from the end of the season and judge the whole season on a few games.

The conference decides who gets their bid. So your issue is with the conference, not the NCAA.

Why do you think the NCAA cares? It's up to each conference to determine how their automatic bid is granted. For years the Pac 10/12 never had a baseball tournament. The automatic bid went to the regular season champion.

What does Lunardi know about baseball?
If this was the old days before NIL and the portal, one would deserve a bid
But since the best players will transfer to P4, their bids will transfer too. The numbers might look okay, but the Southland is a minor league for the AAC, Sun Belt, and CUSA now
