UNO at Houston Christian for the Southland Conference automatic bid. LOL. Maybe SLU sneaks in since they were the regular season champs.

Literally the worst case scenario for the Southland Conference which felt this year was the year it would finally get 2 bids to a regional
But the feeling was it HAD to be a SLU/UTRGV final with SLU winning

Conference USA is the fifth highest rated conference and will be a one bid league as well unless DBU doesn’t win the tournament

That was the prevailing sentiment that popped up in the last week, but I think it was going to be tough to keep both out if they made it. It’s all moot now because they both shite the bed, but maybe this moves the SLC away from a conference tournament or closer to something how the basketball tournament is run
