Kiffin is a jerk and I don't hold him going to USCw as a factor (how he did it. yeah.partially. I mean, he made me feel sorry for UT ) He's young, so he might still grow out of it though. His coaching title is definitely higher than his coaching talent. The next couple of years will be interesting, it'll also be interesting to see this year...how well he can do as a front runner. Right now, USCw and LSU are the most mentioned pre-season #1s.
What exactly has he done to for some to say he is a good coach. Nearly beating Bama, beating Oregon? Goose-egging UCLA?
