That guy better pray Rosen is a bust because his justification is really stupid.

If mayfield doesn’t pan out and Rosen does I can’t wait to see how many times this gets posted.

The Draft is now covered by three networks and countless publications. They spend incredible time and money covering everything they can whether relevant or not; reliable or not. This is one of those publications.

i read it twice. I don't know what I'm missing here. Did he assume the coach was talking all cryptic?

Apparently the volleyball coach saying "Why the hell are you asking me? He doesn't play volleyball" is a huge red flag in the Browns front office.

Rosen is probably the safest bet, imo. The dude can sling the ball, showed on several games that he can lead clutch drive after clutch drive.

Having watch nothing but arse QB for the better part of my LSU and Texan fanbood, all I want is a guy I can trust to score with 2 minutes to go. Rosen showed he can do that several times

I agree. I don’t care if the guy is a bleeding heart liberal and an a-hole or not. He’s a great player who was surrounded by shite players and shite coaches at UCLA.

I mean I do understand.

If Rosen was great and perfect people wouldn't deflect that question because they'd rave about him.

But it's more than just rosen's attitude. You really think he's gonna try in Cleveland as opposed to sunny Arizona? Not even far from home for him either.

It’s the volleyball coach. Are going to Fran Flory for thoughts on Derrius Guice? Come on

Well don't forget that a homeless man telling Jimmy Haslam to draft Manziel showed him that the average fan wanted Manziel.

Report on ESPN about it

Oh Browns, never change.

This is one of those stories that doesn't seem to make sense in print.

I assume the takeaway is if Rosen was a good guy, the coach would have felt comfortable saying so, but if he's iffy, the coach decided it wasn't his place to comment. That's a huge stretch, but there is no way to understand the context in that excerpt.

The Browns couldn’t resist the opportunity to draft Johnny Manziel twice in the same decade.

You people know the Browns have Nick Chubb, Josh Gordon, and Jarvis Landry right? If you think they aren't getting better, you're not paying attention.

I mean I'm assuming that they're referring to that incident as the volleyball coach has a lot of interaction with him (i.e. his gf is a vball player, so likely sees him around or hears about him).

its just a small part of a bigger puzzle.

Thank God you're addressing other more serious character flaws.
