They were top notch when I played too... CASL elite, Magic, texans were the top teams we played annually.

Yeah we always had battles with Solar and the Dallas Texans. Solar puts together teams every few years that are incredible and unfortunantely our year their team was amazing.

Leauxgan and I were star players and team captains of the Hoboken City Freebasers. We were always first in line for reach-a-rounds.

ah yes, we had a fierce rivalry with Yonkers Yeast Creamers FC.

we played an unconventional 1-2-1-1-1-4. I played backup-backup-center mid. minus my stint in prison, it ranks as one of my fondest memories.

Houma Blackhawks from probably 02-06ish, then some friends and i got together and made a REC team for s's and g's...we were "the fighting cocks"

as for the blackhawks...i played on the team that always sucked. the age group ahead of me was normally competitive in those massive Texas tournaments. my age group just fell apart because of guys going to NOSA and lack of discipline.

Was it ever fierce! I remember on one occasion, their Irish Guido captain, Guido McMerkin, went in for a flying headbutt tackle on our young goalie, Johann Van Der Slutz, (who suffered from Bell's Palsy, and was, unfortunately paralyzed in his right arm and left leg, making him walk like the zombies in Michael Jackson's Thriller) when OUT O frickIN NOWHERE, Father Seamus Silva da Santons Senna de la Souza threw holy piss water in McMerkin's face and performed an exorcism right there on the field.

I remember you slyly took the ball from their right back, Zim Bob Way O'Donovan Hoolahan through a voodoo trance, and mimicked a Lenape rain dance, eventually scoring a goal by golfing the ball into the net with your penis.

Then after the game, we all watched Haley Joel Osmond snuff porn, and ate many slices of pizza laced with PCP, koala laxatives, and the gonads of tarpans.

Ah, the good ole days!

Yah by far the best fields in Tennessee, you play in the MIT or GIT?

fwiw i played in the GIT at mike rose a time or two. very nice complex.

i play in georgia for NASA (north atlanta soccer association). gayest name ever. used to be atlanta silverbacks affiliated and before that was two clubs of metro north and united quest.

only reason i detail that is because it is a huge club so there's a decent chance people here have played a team from it.

Texans = badass.

I played on the Texas Heat 82 (Kingwood). I played during the height of the club....I heard it fell apart after I graduated and all the good players went to the Texans or Classics.

At any rate....Houston youth soccer = the best in the county.
