most certainly would have. he's a #1 center. There are not that many of them.

Even if you list all the teams in the league, it's a 12 team league. You got to have a center.

i think dirk and AI for Dwill is actually a pretty good deal. that's two top ten players for one.

i was just trying to get dwill for myself.

Okur is the 11th best C in my rankings.

i guess he is a #1, but a back end option.

Amare
Howard
Camby
Duncan
Yao
Jefferson
Bynum (Injury Risk)
Miller
Okur
Oden (Injury Risk)
Okafor (Injury Risk)
Bogut
Ilgauskas
Kaman (Sharing time)
Shaq (Injury Risk, Kills one category)
JO (injury Risk)

How do you arrange this?

yeah. he's a good fourth or fifth keeper.

i think he's a better keeper than Dunleavy, Richard Jefferson, Stephen Jackson, and maybe even Tyson Chandler given that rebounds are not a rare category.

And he'll be better almost anybody picked in the expansion draft.

See, i dont think that because there are 12 teams in the league that that means there are 12 #1 C's.

What if it was a 14 team league? 14 #1 C's?

No. There are like 5 or 6 actual #1 level C's.

You could MAYBE argue 5th...but if he was someones 4th keeper and that someone wasnt kstout, they would be a laughing stock.

You underestimate Dunleavy. Chandler owns Okur on reboundin and FG%. Jackson is right around the same and Jefferson is garbage.

I would argue Okur is clearly the worst player kept.

And yes I know I am keeping Crawford and LEs is keeing Chandler (or Mo)

And Okur owns chandler on FTs and 3s. so?
ETA: And doubles his points scored.

Well clearly I am glad I am not keeping either one....but from my C I am llokng for rebounds, blocks, and FG%....not 3's.

if you treat him like a really good SF with C position eligibility (which you've just admitted is hard to find a good player) then what's the diff?

I take Memo ahead of shaq, JO, Bogut, Kaman, Chandler, Z and a bunch of others.

17 pts 10 rebs 85% FT and 2 3s per game is good for anyone.
He can make up for blocks (he has garnett) and draft another rebounder easy.

JC and TC are just as questionable a keeper as Okur.
Taking a look at the avg draft position.
