Spurs are 4-0 in their first game in the finals. They have won all 4 Titles. That's how stats like that work, both ways.

The only time I thought the Heat would legitimately lose one of those series was against Boston last year when they got down 3-2.

I just think the fact that the Spurs missed a bunch of open shots, played like crap in the 1st half, and still won is very significant.

Plus, 3 straight games in San Antonio.

The Spurs missed some shots, but the Heat are capable of playing much better than they did tonight also. It's not like they played their A game

They played damn near their A game for 3 Q's.

I've watched a lot of Heat games, and I didn't see anything close to that tonight

Their bench played brilliantly in the 1st half. Lebron had a triple double. DWade had one of his best games in the playoffs.

Bosh was well Bosch, but hes been that way for a while now, even going back to the Bulls series.

The Heat had a poor 4th Q, but they played better than the Spurs for most of hte night.

That is true, but it still wasn't a A performance IMHO. They didn't shoot the ball well, didn't get out in transition, never once really cranked up the defensive intensity, Lebron never really got going offensively, etc.

And why is everybody citing the Spurs missed threes but not the Heat's? The Heat were a better 3 point shooting team throughout the season, and both teams missed a ton tonight. Spurs were 7-23 and Heat were 8-25. Heat shot 40% during the regular season while attempting 22 per game. Spurs shot 38% during the regular season while attempting the same

Yes, but I'm basing my position on the type of shots the Spurs were getting. Rarely tonight, did the Heat get an open 3 look with no contest (Bosh's miss late, as well as a few of his earlier ones, were the only ones I can remember).

To me it looked like the Spurs were daring Bosh to shoot, but were attempting to contest everyone else.

The Spurs must've had at least 10 wide open 3's that didn't drop.

Exactly, which is why they're all irrelevant
