One day I hope to go there. I was amazed by just playing Amen Corner at the Tour 18 course in Houston.

It is intimidating. Even when fake. I bet Tour 18's Amen Corner looks great this time of year. I have played when they had it lush and green and in the dead of summer when it was kind of brown.

I played it last fall around September and it had rained hard that morning so it was soggy as crap but the ball was sticking on the greens. You could stop a 5 iron dead that day. No roll in the fairways though. I actually made a par on #12 par three. The 13 green was freaking unbelievably tough and they had the pin back right that day. TV does not do the slop justice.

Was there for Tuesday practice round. Windy, windy, windy. Beautiful place, have a ton of pics to put up later.
