Seriously?
What's more plausible? That they could manipulate games to some predetermined outcome and have basically no one ever get caught or spill the beans or that stuff just happens like some guy comes off the bench and shots out of his mind? The level of control necessary to do what you suggest in all pro sports is simply not possible. What really makes claims like your so stupid is it is completely unnecessary. They are making tons of money either way. People that say these outcomes are fixed because they make more money because the ratings are higher prove the old adage that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

People like Philly do not understand logic. He simply cherry picks facts to fit his narrative and doesn't care how inconsistent his arguments are. If the NBA was a crocked as he says, why on earth did they let Tim Duncan go to San Antonio in the first place, let alone have them win 4 going on 5 titles?

I think some people need to believe that stuff because they can't accept that stuff just happens. It's just conspiracy's. People seem to need that there is always one controling authority that has mapped out all outcomes. That a panel of experts can "fix" health care for 300M people. People just can't accept that stuff happens, so they need to invent narratives.
