His helmet was under the throwing arm with his shoulder in the QB's chest.

Bad call. Terrible call.

He didn't lead with his head. He hit him with a Douglass pad. He hit him as your taught by every coach. If they said he left his feet and intentionally lead on dangerous manner I'll buy that.

Right.. I think everyone just sees the penalty total and maybe this play and assume they got screwed. That's not the case. Most penalties were mental mistakes by Nebraska and showed poor team discipline.

It's clearly leading with his helmet, which is what the call was.. It wasn't late by any means and was the only questionable call of the night.

The call was roughing the passer, actually.

And as far as leading with the helmet.... yeah, no. The kid had his helmet on the side of the QB. Even if you tackle with your shoulder, of course your helmet will always be out in front. It is nearly impossible to put your shoulder in front of your head.

Head under the armpit, IS NOT VICIOUS, IT IS NOT HELMET TO HELMET. IS NOT LEADING WITH THE HELMET, IT IS FUNDAMENTAL FOOTBALL.
