He definitely reminds me of Tarkenton when he's running circles in the pocket. I'm assuming whoever said he won't be drafted is trolling.

Why? Because you jumped into an argument and got shown otherwise with numbers that proved the original point I was making. It's not my fault neither of you understood what I was saying.

Just cause you resort to insults rather than debate. My point is individual success isn't defined by duplicating statistics.

2009 shows as 67.8%, and I'll admit my last one was incorrect. I was thinking 08 was his throphy year. He only increased 1% from 07 when he threw for 66.9%. An as you stated 2008 was the year he had the "bum" shoulder which would account for his comp% dropping.

It was bruised or something IIRC. Maybe a Florida fan could comment further

I actually like Johnny Football.

But as another poster said...

Once he starts going all in like with Tebow and VY...

He jinxs them or that isnt a good sign.

So he says this kid is RARE. Likens his style to a mix of great QBs past and present, including some back from the 60s.

Then says he will be the rookie equivalent of.......a guy that got selected 2nd overall.....last year.

I wouldn't be surprised if he dominated. Obviously his running ability is off the charts. But he can pretty much sling it with anybody. His ability is off the charts. We'll know much more after this year but I think he's the real deal.

We criticize sports 'experts' a lot and I'm all about that, but Skip is the one guy who I honestly think has no idea what he's talking. He's redefines moron.

Incorrect. Skip ALWAYS gets reactions like this from his comments. It's what he and ESPN want from his comments.

Bayless aside, I do find it interesting that sports writers are starting to talk about him as a first rounder/top 10 guy. What happened? Russel Wilson?

We're talking Michael Vick meets Doug Flutie meets Fran Tarkenton meets Brett Favre meets Drew Brees -- with a sometimes dangerous dose of Broadway Joe Namath thrown in off the field.

So he will go to jail, go play canadian football, send pictures of his junk to girls, have shoulder surgery, then get drunk and try to kiss a sideline reporter? I wanted to include Tarkenton but I don't know enough about him
