If Auburn wasn't banned from a bowl, how likely would they have been chosen to play for a title over one of the other opponents?

I could have made that pass with no one within 15 yards of me. And like I said if he can’t run he’s sacked, throwing an interception or incompletion. If LSU spies him it’s game over. You were saying???

They would've had to beat UF again in the SEC title game first. And they may have been penalized for not playing anyone OOC (Samford, Southern Miss, NM St).

I was at WVU at the time. It didn't help our QB "Whiskey" Jake Kelchner, transfer from Notre Dame, was boozing it up on Bournon Street the week of the Sugar Bowl. Plus he got knocked out of the game and our backup got a concussion during the game. Backup got knocked silly on one play and lined up under the guard on the next play
