Gotta give us more than a draft pick.

Everyone on this board will say no for a variety of trolling purposes.

The reality is yes they will without even thinking about it if it means having Durant/Kyrie/Davis.

Why is everyone assuming NYK get No. 1? It isn’t guaranteed in the slightest.

They have better odds of getting 4 if I remember correctly.

I think it’s a 14% chance

It’s crazy the way people are talking about this like it’s a certainty.

They wouldn’t trade the number one pick, 4 or 5 they would.

This is the fricking Knicks we are talking about here.

They will get the 5th pick.

They have 70mm in cap space.

With that they will sign Marc Gasol and Tobias Harris

Id rather have Zion than Davis even though Zion is untested.

Less money means you can afford another really good one.

Of course it's a gamble.
I'd even rather have morant.

Davis is only a one year deal. No one knows, not even Davis, what he will do after that year.

So the gamble is:
An untested but possibly terrific, maybe even hof young guy for Union scale for 4 years who may not be "all that", after all
Vs one year of fragile fabulous top 10 (no worse than 2nd team all nba) Davis.

They can make room for 3 major deals.

NYK is one of the teams on Davis’s list to resign with.

Durant and Kyrie aren’t going to give two fricks about a 6’5” rookie PF. They’ll want Davis to pair with them or they may decide to go elsewhere.

This is all moot because it’s unlikely they get #1.

1 out of 7.

Don't they measure for ncaas? I think they had him 6 7".

Not necessarily for Davis, as the Pelicans wouldn’t take it because they have nothing else to offer, but I just meant in general. Number one pick is absolutely untouchable this year. Zion will sell tickets anywhere.

If the Knicks get #1 they will trade it for Davis. Forgone conclusion.

Most other teams in the top 6 I agree.

What list?

Last I saw he was " I'm cool, any place is ok".
