Yet, that says it all.

Disagree if you want in how you rank elite...but when it mattered...OU was the king.

Texas won TWO Big 12 titles during his 13 years.

Forced retirement? Maybe.

THIS would be the only way he is not there next year.

Alabama has won 1 SEC title in 12 years. Would you say they are elite?

Alabama has other things to show for it.

Called National Titles.

Mack Brown has TWO Conference Titles and 1 National Title in his 13 years.

How many conference titles did his peers have?

PC? Bob Stoops? Bowden with FSU?

We're talking about elite...not just racking up win totals...elite means you have something to show for all that recruiting effort.

That's my definition, obviously yours is different. Agree to disagree.

Agreed. But I will say this. Texas from 2000-2010 had at least 10 wins EVERY YEAR. I know I know The comp wasn't SEC worthy,But still. NOW Texas is nowhere near where they were.

seriously, texas is one of the worst coached football teams i've seen all year

the wide receivers have no clue how to get open and can't run precise/crisp routes

the line backers can't tackle or cover

the Defensive lineman get butt raped on every other play

they are a pretty bad team overall. I mean, they have a shite load of talent but it's not being coached.

Biggest underachiever in the NCAA. Tejas fans know they can do better.
