What if it really was "good game" only sarcastically and his coach is chewing him out telling him to act like a grownup. Then does he still deserve it?

Even before he got hit the HC was grabbing him and yelling, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't "Good Game"
We shall see. Not sure what the Boise player did when he patted him MIght have been good game and then Blount went nuts. It appears he was already out of it
Right now we are assuming a lot about the Boise player.
Still no nothing deserves that. And the he going after the fans, having to be restrined by the police.

he should get a game for talking shite and one extra one for getting dropped.
if he was just talking shite then he prob gets his arse chewed and maybe some punishment at practice but he put his hands on another player after the game. That will prob get him some actual playing time missed.

Deserve what? Getting punched, no. Getting a suspension by the coach of his own program, or conference then yes.

So if you were his coach you would be ok with his actions?
Well no. Both were wrong. But I don't think the Boise St guy deserves any kind of suspension.

Sucker punch, if you ever played sports in high school or college after a game people say shite to you all the time. It does not warrant punching them.
I do not know how many times after a game someone on another team would think they were funny and run their mouth after. Sometimes you have to act like an adult and take the high road.

I think he needs to be made an example of, petersen should use Hout to show that kind of behavior will not be tolerated.
1 game suspension imo
1 game suspension imo

Please refer to where I said or inferred he deserved to get laid out? I was asking if his actions deserved punishment by his own coach

Please pass this advice on to Hout. Nothing he did makes me think he is a mature adult or prone to taking the "high road"

Peterson was in the process of reeming his arse when Blount punching him.
Getting jacked in the face is plenty
lesson learned-
those with glass jaws shouldn't talk shite

If all he did was repeat some of Blounts comments to Blount then it should be handled at practice.

That's not all he did. He laid his hands on an opposing player. Call it a "pat" or a shove or whatever, but after a game you shouldn't be touching opposing players unless it is to shake their hands.
Situation 100% avoidable if Hout takes the "high road" and acts like an adult

Come on. That pat wouldn't have hurt a 5-year old.
He deserves whatever punishment Petersen gives him. The conference shouldn't even spend 1 second discussing this. If I was the coach, I would make him run wind sprints, yell at him for a few minutes about having discipline and not putting teammates in a tough situation, and sit him out for a half.

That's fine but you still don't do that.

I agree except maybe make it a game cause it should be an easy one and it looks better PR purpose wise

Ever played football?
It actually happens all the time after game where you walk by or through opposing team you get some slaps on shoulder pads. What set Blount off was whatever was said.

bullshite, not like that it doesn't.

Yes it does, only the players don't go freaking bat crazy. Most people know to handle it like an adult.
The difference is whatever Boise State dude said to him. The slap on the shoulder pads happens a great deal more than you believe. Its only an issue when something like this happens.

He definitely deserves a game for being a pussy.

There is no way you are really trying to argue that is a typical good natured shoulder pad "good game" hit.
That was a "we won go frick yourself" hit. You want to pretend like Hout did nothing wrong go right ahead, me I think he acted classless and was very unsportsman like. Put the punch aside and he deserves to be suspended for a game being acting like that.

He definitely deserves the whole season for attacking his own teammate.
