. Are the players at the 13 SEC schools not in Georgia "punished" because the SEC CG is played in Atlanta? No Besides there are other people that benefit from hosting events beyond the players and unlike the players those people stand to gain financially.

I would imagine they’re just exercising their leverage

The SEC didn’t give two shits about Mississippi sports until today.

There have been groups trying to get those flags changed for a long time. As someone noted Mississippi held a vote in the early 2000's

Greg Sankey has been the SEC Commissioner for 5 years and an employee of the SEC for 18 years
To my knowledge, this is the first he has spoken up on this issue. As such, he has been implicitly supporting of the flag of the State of Mississippi.
As such, Mr. Sankey should step down as Commissioner.

I didn’t argue that. I said the league is only speaking up now because they are giving in to the extremists/radicals right now. The ones burning down buildings, rioting, and vandalizing.
