So true... Bron is a freak of nature and could play in any era... But when it counts the most he fails more than he prevails,,,,

He is the best player in the NBA right now and its not even close....

His age doesn’t mean anything.

Either he’s as good as harden. Or he’s not. Whether he’s 20 or 30. Or 40.

Of course it does, it's biology and physics bro. Have you seen LeGOAT play this season? Dude is flat-out DESTROYING fools on a nightly basis, attacking the rim AT WILL.

quote:

He’s not. He’s having a great season. But hardens season to date is top 5 in league history. When you looking at the advanced stuff, team success, and all time offensive rankings things that he is leading his mates to.

I'm gonna need to see this list of all those great league history seasons you're referring to before I even remotely contemplate agreeing to something like that (personally I thought Harden's 2017 season could be argued in the all-time context because he was the ONLY player EVER to achieve 2,000-900-600 but the game changes and evolves with rules and things so how can you really measure them up to one another? Still an accomplishment's an accomplishment-he really should've been MVP not Russ).

I mean that is a good point. Hard to argue. Elway was one of the best...won 2 out of 5. History remembers Joe Montana and Brady.

LeBron is like Elway, one of the best of all time. Jordan is a notch above. Much like Montana and Brady.

I mean I don't think that's too far-fetched. The East was terrible for a long time.

It’s not at all. For most of the last decade if you can win a first rd series in the west you coulda beat the non lebron team in the ECF. Sometimes you can lose a first rd series and still be better than the other eastern conf finalist.

Team on 70 win pace

How many 70 win teams have there been?

Team top 5 all time in margin of victory
Top 5 all time offensively efficient

Harden top 2 ws/48 season ever
Top 10ish PER ever
average 35/9.5 for a whole month for the first time in 4 decades

Etc
Etc
Etc
Etc
Etc

It is wayyyyyyy far-fetched. You can start with Harden having a 41-41 season.

Then talk about the really tough series Lebron played along the way. Boston in Year 2, even the Pacers that went to 7 games. Yea, it's certainly far-fetched to think that Harden would win every one of those series, especially since he had himself a .500 season just 2 or 3 years ago.

So it's more believable that Paul George would go to multiple finals than James Harden?

This Houston team from the last 3-5 years would absolutely have made the Finals a few times in the East, especially if Lebron was in the West.

Who are you and why are you making me waste my time to prove you wrong. Do you think I just make stuff up? Jc make it stop.

Harden PER - 31.0

#10 per all time was 31.14
#12 was 30.81

Is #11 top 10ish or Not
