What?

Oh the PER calculation. I have looked before and not been able to find anything. Heard it in an interview years ago.

VORP. BPM. Win share. Etc. all influenced by games played. They are counting stats. He has played three more games than the clear mvp at this point. That’s why he is ahead in those.

OK now you're just willfully being intellectually dishonest here, LOOK AT THE STAT LINE BRO and the fact the guy who's achieving this is almost in HIS MID-30S, dude's played pro ball for 15 seasons, placing too much damn weight on "net rating" to determine the best so it fits his argument.

And how many of those did his team win????

This is where you get into a grey area. I understand where you’re going with this, but that is a team mark. What James achieved in the aforementioned performances definitely puts him in the pantheon of greats, and definitely up there with Jordan. Both were remarkable players, but the incessant need for comparison is getting old. Enjoy both and take them for what they were. James and Jordan are never going to square off on the court so who gives a shite? That’s just more of this bullshite ESPN debate bullshite and everyone on here claims to hate ESPN.

James is amazing, Jordan was amazing. They don’t even play the same position.

Ws/48 is not a counting stat.

WS is. BPM is. Etc etc.

one Is impacted by games played. The other isn’t. If you don’t understand that simple concept you prob shouldn’t be even mentioning advanced stats bubba.

Now who is ahead at WS/48.

I can mention whatever stat I want to support my argument genius, also James isn't getting the rebound amount he used to and he sure as hell isn't as accurate scoring buckets as LeGOAT is this season BTW LeGOAT has a better 3 pt pct than the LEGENDARY James Harden that you're promoting so GTFO with that bullshite.

harden current ws/48 is better than any Lebron season ever. Even this one. Lebron is good. But he ain’t breaking the league like harden is.

Second best ws/48 in history of the nba.
Best offense in league history
70 win pace

Etc
Etc
Etc

Can go on and on bro.

Lebron doesn’t take care of the ball enoguh to be on hardens level. His turnovers are too high.

No, I mean crying, actually.

You never been known for intellect to say the least but let me explain it to ya.

I don’t care much about on/off. others use that as the main reason russ was mvp last year. I find that this year a guy like Lebron has a pitiful on/off. I post it to poke fun at those who were so sure that on/off was a valuable stat last year.

iyo, what's the single most valuable stat to judge a player's performance?

Relying too much on ws/48 to justify James Harden being better than LeGOAT, I hope you comprehend one of the primary reasons this is happening for James is because his usage rate is the highest in the NBA, LeGOAT's isn't even top 10 yet he's still accomplishing what he's accomplishing despite all that "games played" bullshite you keep expressing therefore more efficiency from LeGOAT. I'll take my high-efficient LeGOAT while you have your high usage James, thank you very much: 28-9-8 on 58% FG and 41% 3 pt, suck it.

James shoots double the attempts from 3 and is 1% lower. You gotta be real bright to take the guy who shoots 1% better in half the attempts let me tell ya.

There is no one number stats that tells the whole story or even close to it.

But WS/48 is the best that most have access to if you have to pick one metric.

But James Harden's played less games than LeGOAT yet their turnover totals are roughly identical? Hmmm

Hate to tell ya. But everybody who is anybody agrees with me. That James is MVP not Lebron. Maybe you should keep up a little more.

Turnover %

Harden - 14.6
Lebron - 16.2

Harden takes care of the ball better.
