Which ESPN employee has the best theory about rust being real?
Posted on 5/12/15 at 11:25 am to BilJ
his subtle bragging about how he and his friends aren't practical jokers because they are all like super alpha genetically motified business machines
Like, he's so focused and works so hard just like NFL head coaches and fortune 500 CEOs and doesn't have time to be do stupid stuff around the office.
yea ok guy

It goes in this order:
Jim Rome Show
Dan Patrick Show

I will at least give SVP & Rusillo credit that they are at the top of the "everything else" heap. Decent show but not irreplaceable.

Barry Melrose...again.

his analogies trying to compare real life and sports are just so fricking terrible and usually just serve as a vessel for him to tell you how great he is. He's a wannabe elitist
That's why I listen to him, though. The show is 50% sports 50% random stuff.

Skip Bayless would be the most comparable to Boomshackalaka.

Yep. And Flores can be such a little bitch about his opinions. Dude...you're an anchor, we don't need your opinion on everything.

I'm interested if they are doing some sort of late night show.
Might as well have given it to Olbermann then.
I know a lot of people hate Olbermann, but he would be a better solo host than SVP.

I'd probably listen to an hour of Barry Melrose and Herm Edwards talking about baseball

Just saying. If they're going for the whole "late night talk show" vibe, then they might as well give it to someone who is a proven host in that setting.
I like SVP a lot better than Olbermann, just to be clear.

Dude, I love Olbermann. He's great. I love his baseball segments, like the one he did on Fred Merkle.

If he could stay focused on sports and pop culture and stay away from Politics he can be entertaining

My friend and I think HBO should have one baseball game a week, between two shitty arse teams, and have two comedians do the commentary.
And the idea would be for them to call the game like they're just sitting at home in their living room watching the game.
They could go off on tangents and not even pay attention to the game for stretches.
"By the way, Hayward homered a few batters ago and now it's 3-1 Cardinals."
