I hope whatever he does it's available nationally because he is my favorite ESPN personality.

He's one of the few ESPN personalities who doesn't seem fake.

I think Ryen is often the idea guy behind he scenes. He is very intelligent in respect to what a lot of people think.

He and Simmons are very similar in that regards IMO.

Yeah it sounds like he's gone.

Actually doesn't sound like a completely done deal that he's gone yet. SVP is at least still holding out hope that Russillo gets the show. Maybe ESPN will do something smart for a change... okay that means he's almost definitely gone.

The russillo original content comment was interesting, I guess that's why he was always trying to do those games (qb stock, etc).

It seems to me the brass was going to force him out one way or the other with his new contract. It was a big fight just to get his name on the show and I think ESPN had other plans for SVP

in other words, SVP & russilo got sterling cooper'd

Doesn't SVP have an account here? I think he's even posted here a few times.

He's very genuine in his opinions and isn't afraid to back them up in debate. If ESPN does indeed lose him it will be their loss.

Agree, think Stanford Steve is very good in that regard too. If you listen to the show a lot I think they basically infer that in a joking way, svp is the dude who just shows up and steers the ship (and does it very well).

I was rooting for him to leave ESPN and do his own thing. But I believe having a newborn child played a role in him staying with ESPN. I can't hate a brother for supporting his family.

Yeah I've always felt Scott was just the host. Even on air, Ryen is usually the guy with the most opinions. Scott just splinters off of them.

Really sad the show is coming to an end. Best way to pass the work day for 3 hours.

This show is so good. Great chemistry

Honestly, with this coming to an end. I'm probably going to be listening to podcast from now on. Local radio is only good for LSU Football and sometimes they are too suffocating.

I am going to be a child wondering into a movie late. I can't go back to Baton Rouge local radio

The ESPNBR format has gotten a bit stale. Yes, I know it's the offseason and this is a CFB/NFL driven demographic. But it's just boring.

As far as national shows go. I can't stand Cowherd & Finebaums schtick because its just not entertaining. Dan Patrick show has it's good moment. But sometimes his head gets a bit too big on air.

Yeah, I know people in media often have large egos (just ask his former SportsCenter co-host) but it would be nice if you could keep it under control while you are doing your job.
