Saints could have been up 21-0 at that point. I think they run away with it. So yes, not finishing drives cost them the game. Finish those and there is no need for a late drive.

Such an awful, awful, illogical argument that actually further proves our point.

But it's been explained to you so many times already. Pointless to try again.

Well I mean very few teams had a sub 50% from 50+ yards during the regular season.
Cincinnati, Denver, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Arizona, Chargers, and Cleveland were the only team's under 50%. So he had a much better chance than 30%

I’m not a saints hater at all. It was a bad call. After the bad call I feel like there was still no reason to lose that game given the circumstances

A 50 yard FG is much different than a 57 yard FG

So win the NFCCG twice while the Rams have to win it once

Gotcha. All is fair.

Yeah a GW to go to super bowl at 57 yards is not the same as a 50 yarder in week 3

If Brees completes that first pass of OT to MT13 I firmly believe the saints win that game

Sean Payton should've never been allowed back in the league after bounty-gate. He's the biggest bag of shite in sports.

Keep crying Aints.

They most definitely can. That’s why you don’t leave it in their hands. Have to capitalize on the chances when you get them.

Y’all act like it was a was a choice the Saints made to not score touchdowns. Or like they weren’t playing against men who are paid to stop them.

If the Saints scored touchdowns on every possession of the season, they never would’ve lost. But since they didn’t, we can only assume they didn’t capitalize on their opportunities and have no one to blame but themselves.

I would say the dropped pass was definitely on the Saints.

Game was tied at the end of regulation. Of course it should have been in OT.

Yet it never would have mattered if the most blatant PI I've ever seen was called.

I’d say the biggest deciding factor was the Saints not finishing drives early when they had the momentum

The non call was clearly the biggest issue - if it's made, the Saints win.

That dropped pass in the end zone was brutal for them.

A play where Arnold was actually mugged and PI should have been called.

If it's made, they get a first down and that's it.
