1st- holding someone to a 57 yard field goals all but ensures a GW FG for Saints if rams kicker misses.

What’s the % makes on 57 yarders anyway? Can’t be higher than 30-35%

2- Brees started with the ball. Funny thing about this is Patriots vs Chiefs also went to OT and a huge segment of fans are saying OT isn’t fair if Brady gets the ball because Mahomes didn’t even touch it.

Between Brees getting the ball 1st ot the Rams settling for a 57 FG the Saints had a 90% chance to win that game after the bad call and still didn’t

Game shouldn’t have been in OT.

Give credit to the rams kicker though, he hit a bomb.

And there’s a 97+% chance that there never is an OT if the most obvious non-call in the league’s history is made. What’s your point?

There was no need for OT

Doesn’t matter, shouldn’t have made it to that point.

So you get a little adversity then crumble

I didn’t even mention the fact that after the ball call you were winning!

Goff only had time for 1 late drive so that’s 3 chances to end it

The MSB's answer to our valid gripe is that we should have won the game twice.

Brady gets in the same OT situation and the whole sports world wants to change the OT rules because that’s not fair

But Brees gets the same opportunity and can’t get it done.

They essentially led the game for 4 quarters and it should have ended in regulation.

It was one of the better kicks in playoff history

I’d say the biggest deciding factor was the Saints not finishing drives early when they had the momentum

That dropped pass in the end zone was brutal for them.

So you didn't think it was PI?

Because if you don't think that, you're wrong.

And if you do think it was PI, and you know how times works, you know the game is over.

All this other shite is meaningless compared to that.

Every detail you keep introducing never happens if the most obvious PI of all time is called correctly.

This is such a lazy arse argument/point.

Yeah the Saints could've done more
Yeah the Rams made plays to win

Both of those can be true and have literally 0 to do with the fact that the officials completely blew a call that directly affected the outcome of the game.

It blows my mind that people default to this any time officials are criticized. And it's not like this was a close/controversial play in any way. It was completely blatant, completely obvious, and missed by two different officials who both had two different views/angles of it.

Bigger than the blown call that would have literally ended the fricking game? Sure.

Are you stupid? A team shouldn't have to win a game twice.

A team that is made to do so and doesn't isn't a bad team because of it.

Both teams had blown calls.

Saints could have been up 21-0 at that point. I think they run away with it. So yes, not finishing drives cost them the game. Finish those and there is no need for a late drive.

For Greg the leg it's 99%.

Agreed, saints did not capitalize.

These people have gone full retard. All season long it was "refs suck, they're affecting games with these terrible calls, especially the roughing calls"

saints lose on a horrific no call

"Haha refs don't change the game!"

They most definitely can. That’s why you don’t leave it in their hands. Have to capitalize on the chances when you get them.
