FSU’s defense is as good as Bama’s?
FSU’s D was ranked ahead of Bama’s throughout the entire regular season.

Yes let’s ignore what I mentioned about his 21 rush attempts & make the qb position one dimensional
He had 3 yards per carry.

And we aren’t supposed to make things one-dimensional?

You know, kinda like saying a football team’s abilities are defined solely by their QB?

What crazy person would do that?

Held then to lower offensive output than any sec team. Hmm

Yeah, you know he actually ran for over 100 yds if you don’t include all the sack yardage right?

Gee I wonder what context you're leaving out of that Florida game. Hmm. Why might UF have had its lowest offensive production of the season.

Hmmm.

Sure, and Bama was allowed to play their 2nd string QB in the playoffs.

Or is Milroe the starter?

His stat line kinda makes it confusing.

And Bama actually won the game if you don’t include the points UM scored.

And LSU? The best offensive team in the nation that FSU held to 24?

What's confusing is why you want to tap dance around Rodemaker's stat line against an inferior defense. Actually, that's not confusing at all. Quite purposeful, I imagine.

Sure they played great against LSU game 1. They also allowed Boston College's 2nd highest point total of the season.

But we can keep cherry picking if you like.

Ok let’s not cherry pick. I’ll happily use their entire season. How was their defense?

Maybe you are right.

Maybe Milroe actually proved to all of us that 2nd string QBs really shouldn’t get the chance to play.

Well, not too sure about that. Bama might have had a better chance with their 2nd string.

I mean it’s really a silly argument - so you think FSU got screwed & should’ve played Michigan? Who cares?

The system is fixed next year with 12 teams & will never be a problem again. I won’t lose any sleep thinking “what if FSU would have played Michigan” because I know Michigan would have won.

Rodemaker would have sucked just like Milroe against Michigan. However, defense would have kept it close.

That’s kinda the entire point….

It would have been 20-0.
Maybe 20-3 if Michigan would have muffed punts against FSU too

That is completely lost on these people.

You see, Bama is more than their QB, while all other teams are only their QB.

Maybe Bama shouldn’t have played Rodemaker.
