Unless Kirby gets to 6 or 7 titles. I mean people worshiped the careers of Tom Osborne, Bowden, spurrier, paterno, and these guys were great with the less than 3 championships. What Saban did was Pat Summit Esque. Y’all need to worship and cheer him in his retirement years. I don’t see how he can ever get another. Unless he can last until the playoff is like college basketball

Yes he is, but everybody gets old. It has passed him by, you can hear it in his voice.

Most successful and greatest program CEO

Greatest coach? Unfortunately we never got to see him coach a Bama that didn’t have a #1 recruiting ranking every year

What Saban did to transform those annual #1 inputs to perennial #1 outputs is unclear

Slap an asterisk on it

frick him and frick you, too. I just got to the house from the stadium. Your fanbase collectively are the biggest pussy motherfrickers on earth. I’ve never experienced so much whining and literal crying in my life and I was in Tuscaloosa for the 19 game.

They also didn’t get mulligans and couldn’t dream of a National Title with out winning their conference or going undefeated

His advantage and carrot is gone now. His preaching to get them paid in the pros now falls on deaf ears and already fat wallets.
He won’t be here much longer. They no longer play hard for the guy

Is this how you tuck yourself in at night after a devastating loss.

Don't worry, the media will save Saban as always.

They'll get their SEC-ESPN contractual automatic rematch in the playoffs whether it be Georgia or LSU.

Yall people saying "he recruited too well" and "not Xs and Os" how is that a knock on him? That's part of what makes him the GOAT.

He wan a natty with Jimbo and Muschamp as his coordinators at LSU, before they were known. They only became known commodities because of Saban. Look at this guys coaching tree. Part of being the HC is hiring the right assistants. He's done that time and time again all throughout his college coaching career. And last I checked recruiting is also part of coaching, you need Jimmys and Joes.

BOB and Golding aren't it, I think that's been established. They're been misses in his tenure though he's still getting players. And he's usually pretty immaculate at game planning and prep

There's more to being a head coach than being a playcaller on Saturdays. Saban was never the best at that but that was never the aspect that made him the GOAT HC anyways.

Dolphins

The NFL is all about coaching.

You don't get 18 first round draft picks.

That's what people are talking about. Coaching. Not name brand, what's hot now, filling the stable with moneybag men. Coaching.

Pete Carroll proved he could coach in the Pros without an advantage.

Saban never has. And he loses games with by far the most talented rosters. That's coaching. Great recruiter but we're talking about pure coaching, which he sucked donkey dick at the Pro level where everyone is equal.... No recruiting, no bag men, just draft picks.

Greatest College football coach of all-time is easily Knife Rockne.

Why?

Because he created a myth of what CFB was.

He was the games greatest promoter that every coach since has been living behind that lie. And he still has the highest winning % of all-time for FBS coaches.
