Numbers can lie. If you watch the two offenses one is productive and one isn't. Derek Carr is a great example. Decent number but the offense is so stagnant.

Lamar has been steady all year and is getting better. Wilson has been good numbers wise but the offense has simply not produced. Is this Wilson's fault? Maybe not.

I commend Payton for making the change. Some Dennis Allen wouldnt dream if doing unfortunately.

Wilson plays defense?

I think he was insinuating he had to throw it around a lot when down by that much and likely saw backups on defense for a few drives.

So there are 6 QBs better and they are touting him as MVP?

For some reason the media wants Lamar to be the face of the NFL along with Mahomes but Mahomes isn’t having the best year. I guess that’s why they are on the Lamar train this year.

Haven’t compared Bakers stats with Lamar’s but I would bet Bakers are better.

CMC is the MVP and the only person close is Hill.

This right is just another feather in the cap of you not knowing what you're talking about. As usual.

Please tell me how this isn’t correct when talking of QBs success rate

Instead of bashing Lamar by letting the media brainwash you, how about you talk more about who you think will win it.. you are acting like a little child with your hate of Lamar.

Why does posting his stats equate to hating him? I have no ill will at all to Lamar.

Basically the same . So should Baker be in the MVP discussion?

Please tell me qbs play the same when their defense is holding the other teams offense vs getting into shootouts. I'm sure offensive philosophy doesn't change lol

In that case, playing a bad defensive opponent who has a high ranked offense should be great for QB stats correct?

You're so close to figuring this out.

Playing with an elite defense should lead to a qb not having to do as much, correct?

So, the defense is the MVP, not the QB.

If your defense is elite and your QB doesn’t have to do much to win games, in what way is the QB the most valuable player on the team?

That is a situation where the QB’s abilities become overinflated, something we see often when backups play amazing, are ultimately traded away, and show that they actually stink, something we’ve seen many times over the years.

This isn’t to say that Lamar sucks, but to point out that elite defenses overinflate the perception of QBs.
