I have very sore Achilles' tendon during and after my run. What can I do for the pain? It does not hurt other then when I jog.

What kind of pain? Sharp, dull, constant?
Does it hurt at the beginning of the run or start once you get going?
Also, this thread may be better placed on the OT.

I had this same problem a month ago. Doctor told to take aleve twice a day and take three weeks off. It worked for me. Ran a 10 mile run Saturday with no problems. If the pain doesn't go away, go see a orthopedist. A few years back it was more severe. Ended up in a cast for 6 weeks. Hope your back running soon.

Ice bath (between 50 and 60 degrees) for ten minutes.
