Have to imagine it would be for Mclemore or Oladipo. Butler played well enough in the playoffs to make Deng expendable.

This.

Deal won't happen though as Okafor would be insane to opt out of his contract.

Okafor doesn't have to opt out, just opt in to the player option on his deal for next yr. he'd be insane to not do that imo.

My bad I mis-read... he would have to do it to make the money work. Yea, he'd be insane to leave that money on the table. At best, he's a MLE guy these days. People tend to overpay for size.

There is "no truth" to a rumored trade sending Luol Deng to the Wizards, sources tell the Washington Post.

ESPN.com reports that the Bulls and Wizards had "exploratory talks" about swapping Deng for the No. 3 pick and Emeka Okafor, but it seems the Bulls made the initial offer and the Wizards weren't interested. Any deal would be contingent upon Deng agreeing to re-sign with Washington, another very high hurdle. We'll let you know if anything substantial emerges from these rumors.

"outside of being 6'4, super athletic and black, how is Oladipo a Wade clone?"

I'm guessing you don't watch much basketball. Their games are very similar.

Okafor should opt out. He has another Solid 5 years in tHE NBA. And could make more over the course of the next 5 years than tryin to get one more fat pay year

There is only one guy in this draft who reminds me of Wade, and he doesn't even play SG.

Oladipo may not be able to score consistently in the League. At worst he'll be Tony Allen which is good to have but not worthy of a top 5 pick in this draft, imo.

Burke isn't even remotely similar to Wade.

Dipo does get compared to Wade a lot.

They have the same body type, but VO's offensive game is suspect.
