Good game..
Sorry for the delay in posting my pictures, I was out of town.

Interesting sport that I think I could really get into.

For one its good to see Rugby athletes & not the jiggly belly fat & butt crack of NFL Linemen( so called athletes).

I'm interested in learning the sport , but without cable sports packages (which I cancelled) my Rugby options are limited.

very poor promotion and or advertising for this match.

too much going on in NOLA on that day for me and my friends to head over for the match.

Cam Falcon from NOLA Rugby got the call up early. He's in Austin with the squad. LINK

Not really...

There's full games on YouTube.

And I also host full games on my Google drive account.

Awesome! Glad to see rugby gaining some traction here in the States. I'm still surprised HS football coaches haven't picked up on rugby even if it's just from a conditioning and tackling standpoint and gaining practice time

While it was poor promotion, the dates were released extremely late. Most of the club teams in Texas had games that weekend. Luckily, my team was off and I was able to make the match. Plus, factor in that they would be in Austin the next weekend, there is a large part of the Texas rugby community not going to Houston.

Side note: After the game, my brother and I headed back to the hotel downtown to eat/drink. We were the only ones in there when this older guy came in who turned out to be Cam Dolan's dad. Chatted with him for a bit.

I guess I mean 'live' Rugby ,but I will search around YouTube for a match or 2.

If its not too much trouble can you give me 2 or3 matchups considered " Classics" that I can start with or a couple recent exciting matchups?

I'm learning the terminology ,but have no clue why they lift the guy with the ball like a cheerleader( " Lineout").

Japan vs South Africa from last year's World Cup would be a great starting point. Very exciting match to watch.

Thanks .

I'm off a few days & shall watch it( if on YouTube).

Give me one with New Zealand as well since they seem to be the standard I'm told.

USA v Canada will be live on ESPN3 on Saturday and delayed broadcast on ESPN2 Sunday. Though if you're anywhere near Austin, TX try and see it live. Going to a international match is an absolute blast.

If you have DirectTV there's channel 490 which is a rugby channel that has live rugby frequently.

So to sum it up.

ESPN3
Direct TV Channel 490 (no extra cost)
Also there's beINSports which is included in most cable sports packages.
