I can't tell if he was trying to kick her arse, or just trying to defend himself. Because as strong as she is, if this dude lands a shot on her, she's out like a fricking light.

He was saying he'd never hit a woman before she came at him. He was trying to establish that while he hit her, he only did so out of self defense. Basically he didn't want to go to jail for hitting a woman and was reduced to saying he couldn't even defend himself from one.
In reality? Dude stepped and got his arse worked. He should have stayed in the kitchen and made her a sammich instead of trying to take nude pics.

Any fighter that gets caught with a punch from another fighter just right is going to be out like a light. So fricking what? The dude clearly couldn't catch her so he ended up getting his arse beat.
