i just think it's funny that hornets fans went crazy after aquiring posey, but think the rockets, who finished like one game behind the hornets last year, are going to suck with artest. it really is comical.

1. When the Hornets picked up Posey, I didnt say anything near, "This makes us a top tier team in the west" ( although I think we were last year prior to getting posey)
2. When people were pumped about the acquisition of Posey, Rocketards did come on here and rain on our parade.
3. I never said Artest doesnt make the Rockets a better team...just not as good as you rocketards are proclaiming.

Yao's first 3 years in the NBA he played in 82, 82 and 80 games, the last 3 years 57, 48, 55 games. So injuries are a definate concern. Big questions is, if he gets hurt, will it be like 08 where he get hurts late and misses the end of year and the playoffs or like 07 when he missed big chunk in he middle, but was back and playing well in the playoffs?
McGrady: Was hurt and missed just under half the 04/06 season, other than that his injuries are overblown. He only played in 66 games last year, 71 the year before, 78 in 04/05. The only other time he played in fewer the 64 games was his second year which could have been his soph year in college.

and thats not even getting into Arest's injury concerns. He hasnt played a full season in 10 years

I didnt eliminate there 22 game win streak completely...
Just said they are closer to a 55% win percentage team that 100% win percentage team.
frick...even if they win 65% (the final winning percentage WITH a 22 game win streak) of their games during the streak then they finish the season with 47 or 48 wins.
I am saying they were more like a 48 win team last year...and yes they likely improve with the addition of Artest.
But I say they improve on the 48 win team they really played like last year. So I see them winning 50-55 games next year.
That will earn them a spot in the playoffs.
McGrady will find a way to exit early.
