Our dear friend Timmy thinks the lakers win this series and he foresees a situation where the lakers could actually outright sweep. WOW

HOU went toe to toe with the warriors with kd Steph and klay this lakers team is nowhere close to them. Not even in the same conversation.

You do realize this is a completely different season, right? This a season where Houston needed 7 to beat a not very good OKC.

Being able to shoot a team out of the building is a great way to steal a game or two. Houston isn't Golden State. They won't hit 25 threes a game. Houston will be hot a game or two. Lakers ultimately just better team and will win out.

Agree. My point was that's the only way for Houston to win the series.

Which they won't. I thought that was pretty clear from my post.

The size advantage and the risk of trying to win every game by counting on making 3’s will be the difference in this series.... the Rockets will find a way to get one game but will have to be really lucky to get two..... Anthony Davis is the X factor. Houston has nobody to even come close to stopping him. I say Lakers in six, but it could be 5.......And to be honest I’m not even a Laker fan anymore and would like nothing better than to see the Rockets win this series. Even though BOOM would find a way to be even more unbearable than he already is......

lakers will feast in the paint if they want, the question is can AD/Javale/Dwight guard on the defensive end. if houston can force the lakers to go small, it will be advantage houston.

the game isnt played thru the paint anymore

Lol. Ok........ If the Rockets somehow pull this out. I will laugh with you until the sun sets...... IF the Rockets won in 6 , I will personally find where you are and bring you 5 cases of your favorite beer.... and then drink a few with ya in celebration..... I’ll even kiss Hardens left but while we are at it......

The only we get forced to go small is if houston just nails their threes constantly. But i don't feel comfortable in them being able to do that over a 7 game series

I think there will be moments where Lakers will have to "go small"...but not consistently enough.

I see Lakers in 5.

538 got rockets as 65/35 favourite to win. You guys are falling victim to recency bias that team has the best defender of harden in the league. Lake show has no one in that class.

That is somewhat interesting, but I have been told in the past that 538 has been kind of dogshit in their predictive models in the past...
