Reading that about tepper makes me realize Jerry Jones is probably not as bad.

Nor Blank for that matter. I know I've had my issues w/him and they've been well-documented on here, but he's not that bad.

Panthers owner David Tepper often sifts through data to critique his coach's playcalling.

Tepper is the absolute worst owner in North American sports and there’s no debate about it. He acted like a spoiled, bratty 5 year old dealing with York County and his training center fiasco. When a reporter asked him about the high turnover with coaches and front office staff he went on a rant about his soccer train that no native of either Carolina cares about and said “he brought music to Charlotte, they didn’t have music before I came here”.

There's a reason that the Rooney's kept him as far away from operations in Latrobe as possible when he was a minority owner w/the Steelers.

They knew then.

So basically a friend of a friend? Typically, sourcing for reporters needs to be direct, not hearsay. Surprised this met ESPN’s editorial standards

Seth Wickersham and Jeremy Fowler are two of the best investigative reporters in sports media. They just don't put stuff out for clicks.

And sources are never going to be divulged due to keeping trust.

I’d guess that some of the sources are already named in the quoted parts. They become “sources” when they want to go off the record, and maybe someone else verifies without commenting.

Should we trust Kraft?

Since Kraft took over ownership of the team in the mid-90s, the Patriots have been a perennial playoff team with 10 total Super Bowl appearances. You can argue much of that was due to Brady and Belichick but it was Kraft who hired Belichick in the first place.

Sounds like he showed his work.

Having Bill in the NFC isn't going to hurt the Pats, so the biggest concern with listening to Kraft would be hard feelings about the way it ended, which could make him biased.

I wouldn't hire him because it's clear he lost his fastball.

Sounds like the Falcons dodged a bullet.

That's what I take from it. This version of Belichick would be the same as sounding the death knell for the Falcons. Kraft is probably still trying to understand how stupid his head coach's decisions were with offensive player personnel and coaching. It was just pure hubris and arrogance. I was wondering if he had a nervous breakdown. Belichick should never be allowed back in an NFL locker room again. I hope he finds a hobby in his second life, cause he has burnt a lot of bridges in his first. Good riddance Billy.

Kraft should have kept Brady over BB when he had the chance.
