Me and a buddy went to the Bayou Bash one year at the River Center. Stood in line for 30 minutes for a beer. Watched people on the stage for a little bit then dipped out to smoke.

When we were coming back from our vehicle we saw where they were letting VIPs in backstage. I just so happened to know one of the girls doing cocktail service and she waved us in. Got to meet Justin Vincent and a host of other ex LSU players.

The free daiquiris right out of the machine in the back was pretty dope too.

TLDR; I had a great time the one time I went to the Bash. Got to meet LSU players and drink free daiquiris

One of the best things to change in recruiting was the advent of the Dec signing period. You separate the sincere coaches and players from the pretenders. If a player wants to sign in Dec and the coach won't take it, guess what...you don't really have a scholarship offer. Little Nicky despised the early signing period because he couldn't string guys along any more hoping to find a better replacement. On the other side of the coin, if a player refused to sign in Dec, then he really wasn't a verbal you could count on. And in the second case, the school can then look around for a replacement and have 2 months to find one.

to the early signing period. Long may you reign!

No because, as he so proudly proclaims, he’s not a boomer.

Literally didn’t know today was nsd. Everyone knows the one in December is the real one now. And it appreciate the early period…. Hate recruiting being dragged out endlessly
