I'll go with Revis on this one. He is the defenition of a lockdown corner.

Revis is hard to top at this point. But seems like Woodson gets better with age.

Revis and Asomugha are the best in the game, Woodson isn't that close really.

Is it just me, or is there some new no-name corner every year being declared the best lockdown corner EVAR?

Maybe the NFL and it's fans actually started to notice?

You're right. Last year it was Asomugha. People have ADD.

the Corner position grows more glamorous every year IMO. Used to be that you had to be a ball hawk to get noticed like Deion or Rod Woodson. Now you get props for locking bitches down and maybe having no picks to show for it. The kid across the street from me wants to grow up and be like Nnamdi Asomugha. That says a lot when a kid wants to be a lock down corner instead of a Peyton Manning or an Adrian Peterson.

I wouldn't call them "no named". It's more of a product of how football has grown way more popular and in turn fans are more educated. The more they understand the game, the more they grow to respect positions like Corner and Offensive Linemen.

I meant no-name as in they weren't superstars you heard about in college.

Without looking it up, where do Asumandu (or whatever da feck hisname is) go to college?

Revis had the ESPN play of the year at Pitt, I'd consider that publicity...

This combined with the growth of the media which has resulted in more "bold" opinions just to gain those viewers/readers.
