Depending on how the 2018 NFL draft order shakes out, USC quarterback Sam Darnold could return to school next year for his junior season.

Per NFL Network's Albert Breer (via Nick Camino of WTAM 1100 in Cleveland), Darnold is going to wait and see which teams are picking in the top two spots next April before deciding if he will leave the Trojans. If the Browns are in the top two, he may head back to USC.

The Browns are one of two winless teams, along with the San Francisco 49ers, in the NFL. Cleveland would have the No. 1 overall pick if the season ended today based on the strength-of-schedule tiebreaker.

America's team just won the World Series and you're hitting us with 3 week old news?

Brad, deliver this man to the pit of misery.

He could use another year of college before jumping to the NFL. Money talks though.

Rosen is a great college QB, Darnold is a phenomenal QB, Hurts is a game manager on a great team.

Hurts was a joke

Darnold is scaring me, but my eyes tell me he's Winston with quicker decision making.

Rosen scares the shite out of me. But he isn't in the best situation in college and still somehow finds a way to manage a team AND look like the best player on the field.

Either one of them could win a SB and I wouldn't be surprised. Both could flame out(I think Darnold has a much higher floor and won't flame out), and I wouldn't be surprised.

And again, Hurts was a joke

When have I ever mentioned Hurts on the MSB?

Or Darnold?

And the other one I've mentioned so little times that I don't even know his name

ETA: it's rosen.

Not everything is about you

The topic of Darnold staying in school has been made like 10 times this season

He's returning regardless.

It's funny that he'd blame it on the Browns, though.

But what if the Browns have the #1 pick next year too? He shouldn't flatter himself anyway because he's not that good. He's not even better than Mason Rudolph.

Why even say that? Him just entertaining the idea staying because of that reason will hurt him and his draft stock with the rest of the gm's

I'd rather sit in a hot car in columbia for 8 hours a day with no AC than live in Cleveland.
